Lara Dutta comes out unrecognizable as Indira Gandhi in ‘Bell Bottom’ trailer
Kathmandu, August 5. Lara Dutta has portrayed the role of Indira Gandhi in an upcoming movie, “Bell Bottom”.
During the trailer launch, Dutta asked the audience to guess her character, even offering free tickets to those who guessed it right. She then went on to reveal that she is playing Indira Gandhi in the movie.
She added that it was a big responsibility to play such an iconic character. She also said that it was a challenge to get the body language of the character right.
She went on to say, “I had a great time. There was a lot of homework and research that went behind it. But it was an opportunity of a lifetime that I’m thankful for”.
The movie is a spy thriller based on true incidents from the 1980s. The movie also stars Akshay Kumar, Vani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi in pivotal roles.
The movie is set to release in theatres on August 19.
