Kathmandu, October 10. The New South Wales government lifted the lockdown restrictions at midnight on Sunday.

Dominic Perrottet, the newly-seated Premier of New South Wales, stated,

“Today is a Freedom Day, to be sure. Businesses are sprouting up everywhere. However, it must be done in a controlled and safe manner. There will be difficulties, and I urge everyone in our state to take personal responsibility.”

The reopening of businesses has brought joy to the public. People are flocking to hair salons, bars, shopping stores, and gyms.

“We need to learn to live alongside the virus, and vaccination programs are extremely crucial,” Perrottet continued.

So far, nearly 90 percent of people in New South Wales have received the first dose of the anti covid vaccine. 87 percent of them have already received a second dosage.
