All Nepalis evacuated from Afghanistan

Kathmandu, October 30. The final group of 32 Nepalis awaiting repatriation following the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan arrived in Kathmandu on Saturday.

On Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that 940 Nepali workers had already arrived home and that no Nepalis were still facing security threats in Afghanistan.

The statement also affirms the safety of Nepali officers in Afghanistan who are presently working for international agencies. The Ministry also assured that if the government finds any security danger to the Nepali officials, immediate repatriation operations will be undertaken.

Likewise, the government also thanked all national entities, employers, neighboring nations, and UN agencies for their assistance in the evacuation operation.
