Ministers meet JSP chairman for discussion of citizenship bill

Kathmandu, May 20. Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Govinda Prasad Sharma Koirala and Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand have met Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) chairman Upendra Yadav on Friday.
The meeting took place at Yadav’s residence on Friday morning.
Further, the meeting discussed matters of development and federal matters, along with the citizenship bill. The Citizenship Bill is expected to be tabled at the parliament after consensus from the political parties.
Moreover, Minister Khand revealed that positive talks were held between leaders regarding the citizenship bill.
Minister Khand and Minister Sharma met with Maoist Centre’s Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ for discussion of the bill on Thursday.
