US President Biden in Japan for second half of Asia trip

Kathmandu, May 22. US President has landed in Japan for second half of his Asia trip. He arrived at Yokota Air Base outside Tokyo on Sunday afternoon.
Biden in his three-day-visit will be meeting Japanese Emperor Naruhito, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and attend an in-person meeting of Quad. Leaders from India and Australia will also be joining in for the Quad meeting.
Earlier, Biden was in South Korea where he met his South Korean counterpart Yoon Suk Yeol to discuss matters of defense, Indo-Pacific and other issues of mutual interest.
Moreover, the two leaders considered expanding their military exercises to combat threats from the North.
