Zelenskyy hosts talks with UN chief, Turkish President Erdogan
Kathmandu, August 18. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is hosting UN chief António Guterres and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for talks on Thursday.
The Ukrainian President is holding talks in the city of Lviv, with agendas of ending the war. Further, UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said the three leaders will be discussing over Europe’s largest nuclear plant, Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. The plant is currently under control of Russia.
Zelenskyy reiterated his demand for Russia to back off from the plant on his video address on Wednesday.
Moreover, Zelenskyy will be meeting Erdogan for an hour before Guterres will join in.
According to authorities, the late Wednesday attack on Kharkiv killed seven and wounded twenty others, along with damaging the infrastructures.
