Elon Musk under probe for Twitter deal by US authorities: Twitter
Kathmandu, October 14. Social media site Twitter has said Tesla CEO Elon Musk is under investigation for the $44 billion Twitter deal. The lawyers on behalf of the company said so in a court filing on Thursday.
The lawyers advocating for Twitter said they asked Musk’s attorney for months to produce communication with the federal authorities. But they further reveal that Musk’s attorney failed to do so.
While Musk agreed to buy Twitter in April, he refused the same by July. Moreover, both sides were scheduled to go to court on October 17. But, Musk reversed his decision again. He said he he would purchase Twitter at the agreed up on price of $54.20 a share.
Musk has launched a perfume on Thursday and requested his fans to buy; so that he can buy Twitter.
