Fighting election with the aim of setting new record: Prachanda

Kathmandu, October 15. Chairman of Communist Party Nepal (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said the current alliance was formed for the protection of the constitution and not for the elections. He said so at a program organized for leaders training and meeting at Gorkha on Saturday.

Chairman Dahal said, “The current alliance was not formed for the election.” He added, “After multiple attempts were made to destroy the constitution, the alliance was formed to protect the constitution. It should be utilized for upcoming elections on November 20.”

Further, he said he was contesting from Gorkha with the aim of setting a new record. He revealed that he is familiar with the geography, people and culture of Gorkha; so will attempt for economic prosperity of the country by making Gorkha as a base district.
