Attorney General KB Khati resigns as Prachanda becomes Prime Minister

Kathmandu, December 26. Attorney General Khamma Bahadur Khati resigned on Monday from his role of legal advisor to the Prime Minister. 

Khati submitted his resignation letter a day after CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ was appointed as the new prime minister.

On July 16, 2021, Khati was chosen to serve as the prime minister’s legal advisor.
