Nepal Oil Corporation Announces Significant Price Reductions in Fuel Prices

Kathmandu, Jan 15: The Nepal Oil Corporation has taken a significant step in providing relief to consumers by announcing a substantial reduction in the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene. The decision comes in response to the updated purchase prices received from the Indian Oil Corporation.

Effective immediately, the price of petrol, diesel, and kerosene has been decreased by Rs. 16 per liter. This move is expected to ease the financial burden on consumers and promote economic stability.

As per the latest pricing details, the rates for Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhganj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj are as follows:
– Petrol: Rs. 163.50 per liter
– Diesel: Rs. 143.50 per liter
– Kerosene: Rs. 143.50 per liter

For Surkhet and Dang, the revised rates are:
– Petrol: Rs. 165 per liter
– Diesel: Rs. 155 per liter
– Kerosene: Rs. 155 per liter

In the major cities of Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal, the new prices stand at:
– Petrol: Rs. 166 per liter
– Diesel: Rs. 156 per liter
– Kerosene: Rs. 156 per liter

This move by the Nepal Oil Corporation is expected to bring relief to consumers and contribute to stabilizing the economy. The corporation urges the public to take advantage of the revised prices and assures its commitment to providing essential commodities at reasonable rates.
