Nepali Cricket Team Sets Off for Friendly Series and ACC Premier Cup

Kathmandu, Mar 28: The Nepali national cricket team bid farewell to Nepal as they embarked on a journey to India for a friendly series with Baroda and Gujarat, followed by the ACC Premier Cup in Oman. The team received a warm farewell during a ceremony attended by Youth and Sports Minister Virajbhakta Shrestha and officials of the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN).

The Nepalese cricket team is scheduled to participate in the T20 Friendship Cup against India’s Gujarat and Baroda teams in Vapi, Gujarat, India. The triangular series will take place from March 31 to April 7 and serves as valuable preparation for the upcoming T20 Cricket World Cup.

This friendly series not only provides the team with competitive exposure but also allows them to fine-tune their skills and strategies ahead of the international tournament.

Following their engagements in India, the Nepali team will shift their focus to the ACC Premier Cup scheduled to be held in Oman from April 12 to 21. The Premier Cup offers a platform for teams from across Asia to compete at a high level and showcase their cricketing prowess.
