Kathmandu, Jul 26: India has secured its place in the final of the ongoing Women’s Asia Cup.
In a dominant performance during the first semi-final match on Friday, India defeated Bangladesh by 10 wickets, ensuring their spot in the tournament’s final.
India chased down the target of 81 runs set by Bangladesh with ease, completing the task without losing a wicket in just 11 overs. Bangladesh, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, managed to score only 80 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
India will now face the winner of the second semi-final between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, with the final match scheduled for Sunday. The second semi-final is taking place today.
