Kathmandu, Aug 21: The Mugling-Kathmandu road remains blocked due to a landslide near Nagadhunga.
Police report that the road closure persists as continuous rains have hampered efforts to clear the landslide in the Jhaple river area near Nagadhunga. The ongoing rainfall has made it difficult to remove the debris, and it is estimated that once the rain stops, it will take 3 to 4 hours to clear the road.
The blockage, which started in the morning, has caused a long line of vehicles to form on both sides of the affected area.
