Kathmandu, Oct 27: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has reacted to Israel’s October 26 attack, calling it a miscalculation. In a post on social media, Khamenei stated, “The Zionist regime took a wrong step two nights ago. We must show them the strength, determination, and initiative of the Iranian people.”
Israel carried out airstrikes targeting Iranian military bases, with Iran confirming the death of four of its soldiers in the assault.
Earlier in October, Iran launched approximately 200 missiles at Israel, though the attack reportedly caused no major damage. In response, Israel fired around 100 missiles at Iranian targets, but Iran claims it successfully intercepted all of them.
