Russian President Vladimir Putin to Visit India Soon
Kathmandu, Nov 20: Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to visit India, as confirmed by Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian government, according to the Indian service of “Russia Today”.
While the exact date of the visit has not yet been announced, Peskov expressed confidence that it would be finalized soon. In a video shared by ANI, Peskov stated, “I hope we will fix a date soon. After Prime Minister Modi’s two visits to Russia, our President will visit India.”
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has visited Russia twice this year. He traveled to Moscow in July following his re-election in June and later met Putin during the BRICS summit in Kazan last month.
Notably, President Putin did not attend the G-20 summit held in New Delhi last year under India’s presidency. The upcoming visit signals continued efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.
