Kathmandu, Jan 5: An Indian Coast Guard helicopter crashed at Porbandar airport in Gujarat on Sunday, resulting in the death of all three crew members on board.
Porbandar Superintendent of Police Bhagirath Singh Jadeja confirmed the incident, stating that the helicopter was returning from a routine flight when the crash occurred at 12:10 PM.
“All three crew members were rushed to Porbandar hospital, where doctors declared them dead,” he said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, with both the police and the Coast Guard set to conduct a joint inquiry into the incident.
