NEPSE Index Drops by 11.64 Points, Trading Reaches Rs. 9.24 Billion

Kathmandu, Feb 6: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index dropped by 11.64 points today, settling at 2,699.81 points.

A total of 18.68 million shares, valued at Rs. 9.247 billion, were traded in 92,326 transactions. Among the listed companies, 160 saw their stock prices decline, while 74 experienced gains, and nine remained stable.

The finance sector was the only one to register a positive trend, rising by 1.58 percent, while all other indicators showed a decline. Upper Lohore Khola Hydropower Company hit the upper circuit limit, while Upakar Microfinance Financial Institutions and Corporate Development Bank Ltd faced a negative circuit.
