India and Australia Clash in Champions Trophy Semi-Final Today
Kathmandu, March 4: The first semi-final of the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy will be played today between India and Australia at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The match is set to begin at 2:45 PM Nepali time.
India, the Group A winners, and Australia, the Group B runners-up, have both remained unbeaten in the tournament. Australia has historically dominated India in ICC tournaments, most recently defeating them in the 2023 ODI World Cup final. However, India now has a chance to take revenge in this crucial knockout match.
The two teams have faced each other 151 times in ODIs, with Australia winning 84 matches, while India has secured victory in 57. Ten matches ended with no result.
The second semi-final between New Zealand and South Africa will take place in Lahore, Pakistan, on Wednesday, while the final of the Champions Trophy is scheduled for Sunday.
