Kathmandu, March 9: Liverpool defeated Southampton 3-1 in a Premier League match on Saturday night.
Despite trailing 1-0, Liverpool made a strong comeback with Mohamed Salah scoring twice and Darwin Núñez adding another goal. Will Smallbone netted the only goal for Southampton.
With this victory, Liverpool now has 70 points from 29 matches, maintaining their position at the top of the league. Meanwhile, Southampton remains at the bottom of the table with nine points from 28 games.
