Kathmandu, March 22: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 starts today, with ten teams set to battle for the title. The opening ceremony will take place at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, followed by the first match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
Shah Rukh Khan’s KKR will face Virat Kohli’s RCB in what promises to be a high-energy contest in front of passionate home fans.
This season will feature 74 matches over 10 weeks, played across 50 cities in 23 states of India.
