Effects of local wind: weather to be partly cloudy or cloudy till Thursday
Kathmandu, Jan 12 : Due to the local wind weather is to be partly cloudy or cloudy in most parts of the country in the next three days.
According to Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is a possibility of partial to normal cloudy weather in provinces 1, 2, Bagmati and Gandaki till next Thursday and chances of light rain. As of Monday, the temperature was normal across the nation and it was sunny in the afternoon. Due to the result of the local wind, the maximum temperature will drop towards the afternoon and it will be cold.
“There is no possibility of massive rain immediately”, said meteorologist Pratibha Manandhar. The Kathmandu valley’s maximum temperature is 21.8 degrees Celsius today while it was reported 23.7 degrees Celsius on Monday and the temperature minimum temperature was 3.9 degrees Celsius today.
In the afternoon, the weather in the hills around the country will become partly cloudy in the afternoon, mainly in Province 1, 2, Bagmati province and Gandaki province, with chances of light rain in some areas. Similarly, there is a possibility of dense fog in the Tarai region.
In Simara, the maximum temperature is 13.6 degrees Celsius, and in Jumla, the lowest temperature is minus 3.6 degrees Celsius.
