Kathmandu, January 22.  While responding to the complaints of the locals about the strong smell of cannabis near the Bank of England, the City of London Police on January 13 discovered a commercial building with 826 cannabis plants being grown in the well-ventilated basement.

The next day on January 14, a team of Police entered the indoor weed farm and destroyed all 826 plants. The investigation was led by the acting detective inspector, Andy Spooner.

“This is the first cannabis factory in the City, no doubt being set up in response to fewer people being out and about during the pandemic who might have noticed an unusual activity,” said Andy Spooner.

According to the official press statement issued by the City of London Police, two people are arrested so far and the investigation is further continued.
