After being diagnosed for Covid-19, Nepali Congress General Secretary Shashank Koirala has in a video message claimed that there were no grounds for extreme concern. Assuring others of his recovery, he declared that he would be out of the hospital and on his way home soon.
Having spent some days in home isolation, he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Om Hospital & Research Center due to high fever, according to Mr. Babu Kaji Karki, the hospital’s Managing Director.
The hospital decided to issue the message after some misleading information of his health went public.
