Ncell hands over 150 units of oxygen concentrators to the Health Ministry
Kathmandu, May 23. Telecommunications company Ncell has handed over 150 oxygen concentrators to the Ministry of Health and Population. Chief Executive of Ncell Axiata Limited Andy Chong handed over the oxygen concentrators to Chief Specialist Mahendra Prasad Shrestha, representative from the ministry.
Ncell has donated the oxygen concentrators to ease the oxygen supply in district hospitals. It is said that the company took the step as a part of their corporate social responsibility.
Ncell has also established a hotline number for covid patients, which was enabled with the help of Dhulikhel Hospital. Patients can call on 9805554500 and inquire regarding their health issues related to covid.
Apart from easing their telecommunications facilities, Ncell has also been providing awareness to their staff regarding covid and also delivering medicines to their homes if necessary, according to the press statement.
