PCR reports of these 22 Nepali hospitals approved for International Trips

Kathmandu, June 19. Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population has recognized RT- PCR test certificates of 22 private hospitals. Travellers with reports from these private hospitals will be allowed to fly through international flights.
The decision was taken by the government to prevent the use of fake PCR reports. Earlier in April, Nepal police busted a racket of production of counterfeit test certificates, produced without collecting swab samples. The racketeers were found to have produced a fake PCR report charging Rs 9,000.
So far, the ministry has approved 14 private hospitals:
- Grande International
- Kantipur
- Hams
- Star
- Kathmandu Medical College
- Nepal Mediciti
- B&B
- Alka
- Kantipur Dental
- Janamaitri
- Nepal Medical College
- Nepalgunj Medical College
- Chitwan Medical College
- Lumbini Medical College
The ministry is preparing to recognize 8 hospitals:
- National Medical College
- Universal Medical College
- Manmohan Memorial
- Kathmandu University Medical College
- Nobel Medical College
- Neurocardio Hospital
- Birat Medical College
- Leprosy Mission Nepal Hospital
