Kaski extends Lockdown till June 29, relaxations announced
Kaski, June 21. On Monday, the Kaski District Administration Office extended the lockdown for a week.
According to the official statement, the prohibitory orders shall be effective till the mid-night of June 29, Tuesday.
Recent guidelines allow movement of private vehicles on odd-even patterns. However, a four wheeler is limited to carry only four people including the driver.
Vehicles carrying construction materials and hardware equipment are allowed to operate during night hours between 7 pm to 5 am.
Local departmental stores and grocery shops are allowed to serve from 5.00 am to 12.00 noon. But, the footpath vendors are not allowed to resume their businesses.
With over 16 thousand cases, Chitawan has become the ninth-highest infected district in Nepal. So far, 252 people have lost their lives due to COVID infection.
Entertainment sectors including cinema halls, party palaces, restaurants, coffee shops, fun parks, swimming pools, fitness halls and salons will remain closed.
