Do not pay for vaccines: Health Ministry
Kathmandu, June 29. The Ministry of Health and Population has requested all of the people living in Nepal to not to purchase anti-COVID-19 vaccines.
Ministry Spokesperson Dr. Samir Adhikari announced that the government is arranging free vaccines for all age groups. The drive will follow the priority age groups, therefore, some sections of the population might have to wait for a while.
Adhikari urged the public to avoid paying for government vaccines. Adhikari also requested the public to inform the concerned authorities if any irregularities are found in the vaccination process.
Latest reports suggest that more than 25 lakh people have received the first dose of vaccine. 7.5 lakh people also received the second dose.
