Province Three Farmers receive “President Best Farmer Award”

Kathmandu, July 2. The government of Bagmati Province has awarded the President Best Farmer Award to the top five performing farmers in the province.
The award was given by the Hetauda-based Agriculture Development Directorate, a sister organization of the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture, and Cooperative of Bagmati Province.
“President Best Farmer Award” was given to Krishna Prasad Neupane of Nobel Agricultural Farm, Chitawan.
The other four awards were received by:
- Anjana Acharya (S S Cutflower Nursery), Kathmandu
- Krishna Bhandari (Laligurans Dairy Firm and Research Centre), Chitawan
- Rajan Bahadur Lama (Agro and Livestock Nepal), Ramechhap
- Kabindra Shrestha (Melapat Organic Farm), Bhaktapur
The farmers were recognized for their excellent contribution in a variety of agricultural fields, including milk production, processing, diversification, and marketing.
