Chances of heavy rain with strong winds for five days
Kathmandu. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is a possibility of heavy rain with strong winds in many parts of the country in the next five days. The department has issued a special bulletin urging everybody to be vigilant as the low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal is shifting north-west in the next four to five days, resulting in heavy rains and gusts. Some parts of the country may experience light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning.
According to the latest details of the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature recorded in Kathmandu Valley today is 20.0 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 31.0 degrees Celsius. The minimum and maximum temperatures recorded in the country today are 14.4 degrees Celcius in Jumla and 36.5 degrees Celcius in Neplagunj, respectively.
