Camila Cabello plays modern girl Ella in “Cinderella”
Kathmandu, August 4. Disney’s Cinderella has been quite popular amongst the audience. American singer/actress Camila Cabello will be seen essaying the lead role in “Cinderella”. Amazon Prime Video released the trailer on August 3.
The movie is adapted from the Disney classic, but unlike the old one, this movie has portrayed the leading lady in a strong manner. The lead character, “Ella” is determined to achieve her goals and open her own boutique.
The trailer also shows supporting characters like Ella’s step-mother and step-sisters ridiculing her for her aims and dreams. This adaptation shows the portrayal of a modern woman, where Ella does not want to become a princess and sees the ball as an opportunity to showcase her dress and designs.
The movie also stars Idina Menzel, Minnie Driver, Billy Porter and Pierce Brosnan. It is scheduled to release on Amazon Prime on September 3.
