Kathmandu Valley experiences “coldest day” of 2021

Kathmandu, December 18. Today was the coldest day of the year in the Kathmandu Valley so far.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the minimum temperature of the Valley on Saturday was measured at 2.6 degrees Celsius.
On Friday, it was 3.4 degrees Celsius.
The Department has urged one and to adopt measures to keep themselves warm as the cold has mostly affected elderly people and children.
Today, Jumla had the lowest temperature of -5 degrees Celsius, while Bhairahwa had the highest temperature of 28.1 degrees Celsius.
