Kathmandu, December 22. Nepal’s Education Ministry has ordered a special committee to submit an inspection report on foreign educators in Nepal.

According to the official statement, the five-year operating license of 85 foreign teaching institutes expired in February. All of the institutions had already submitted letters requesting renewal.

As per the law, the state authority must monitor the overseas teaching institutions before extending their operation licence. The inspection was delayed owing to the COVID-19 situation.

Therefore, the Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, Devendra Paudel asked the committee to conduct a field visit and submit a report within the next 15 days.
