Nepal-China sign nine agreements to enhance cooperation

Kathmandu, March 26. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Nepali Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka have held talks on Saturday.

After the bilateral meeting, officials from both the countries signed on nine agreements to boost Nepal-China co-operation and partnership.

Agreements that were signed included China-Nepal cross-border railway, China-Nepal power grid interconnection, duty-free treatment for 98 % of imported goods in China, handover certificate of Araniko highway maintenance project (phase-3), covid vaccines, among others.

Additionally, the handover of Pokhara airport was also done on Saturday.
