President of India-Prime Minister of Netherland meet

Kathmandu, April 6. President of India Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister of Netherlands Mark Rutte discussed ways to strengthen existing relations between the two states. The discussion was held on the sidelines of a government lunch on Wednesday.
Netherland PM Rutte tweeted,”It was an honour to host President Ram Nath Kovind (@rashtrapatibhvn) at a government lunch today. We discussed ways of further strengthening the excellent relations between the Netherlands and India. President Kovind and I also discussed the horrific situation in Ukraine.”
On Tuesday, Netherland King Willem Alexander hosted a state banquet in the president’s honour.
Indian President Kovind said, “As two thriving democracies and as two economic giants, India and the Netherlands are natural partners. We share a common outlook of multilateral solutions to global challenges.” Additionally, he said that both countries are committed to achieve peace, security and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region.
Indian President Kovind arrived to Netherlands on Monday from Turkmenistan. The visit to Netherland is the last part of his two-nation visit. He is accompanied by wife Savita Kovind.
