Kathmandu, May 1. On the occasion of International Labour Day on Sunday, various labor organizations and employee unions have organized multiple programs to demand and celebrate their identity and legal rights.
Sunday morning, The Nepal Trade Union Congress organized a rally in Kathmandu. The rally started in Pradarshani Marga, followed a one-way major route around Tundikhel, and concluded at Bhaktapur bus park near Bagbazaar.
In the Afternoon, the General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions organized a gathering assembly on Bhrikutimandap grounds. The Joint Trade Union Coordination Center (JTUCC) has also announced to hold a rally this afternoon.
