Germany to provide weapons to Ukraine

Kathmandu, May 6. Germany will be supplying weapons to Ukraine for its fight against Russia. The German defense minister gave confirmation for the same on Friday.
Ukraine will receive seven powerful self-propelled howitzers. Further, the Ukrainian soldiers will be trained in Germany on how to use those weapons.
Moreover, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is due to address the nation Sunday on the anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe. The chancellor’s speech is expected to reveal Germany’s position in the war.
Initially, Germany was reluctant but has recently stepped up for material support towards Ukraine, after widespread criticisms.
