California continues to suffer from “extreme drought”

Kathmandu, July 3. The most populous state of California is still suffering from severe drought conditions in the tenth month of the 2022 water year.
On Thursday, the U.S. Drought Monitor (USDM) published its weekly report. According to their assessment, 97.5 percent of California’s land is experiencing extreme drought.
The California Department of Water Resources published its information on water reserves on Friday.
The data indicated that the 11 of California’s 12 biggest reservoirs are below their historical average. This has impacted the state’s huge agricultural sector.
