Influence of westerly wind : Light rainfall forecasted today

Kathmandu, March 25. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted that there is a decent possibility of light rainfall in areas along the hilly belt.
“The impact of the Westerly low-pressure system is likely to bring light rainfall at a few places of the mountainous regions in the next 24 hours.” the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said on Saturday morning.
“Light rain is likely to occur in several places along the mountain belt across the country, and two places in terai belt of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces,” Meteorologist at the Division told reporters.
According to the Division’s latest updates, the Kathmandu Valley this morning experienced a minimum temperature of 11.2 degrees Celsius and is likely to touch the highest point of 25.2 degrees during the daytime.
