Film ‘Jaari’ Celebrates 100 Days of Successful Screening
Kathmandu, July 22 : ‘Jaari’, a film showcasing the marriage-related customs of the Limbu community, has achieved a significant milestone by completing 100 days of screening.
Directed by Upendra Subba, the film boasts an ensemble cast, including Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, Bijay Baral, Prem Subba, Anil Subba, Rekha Limbu, Kamalmani Nepal, and Pushkar Gurung, among others.
Since its premiere on Baisakh 1, the first day of the Lunar calendar, ‘Jaari’ has successfully completed 100 days of screening across three movie theaters in Kathmandu Valley, including QFX Civil Mall, Big Movies, and Fcube.
The Film Development Board has reported that ‘Jaari’ has achieved a gross business of Rs. 1.7 million as of mid-July, reflecting its popularity among the audience.
