Kathmandu, Sept 4: Something really bad happened in Ukraine. A place called Izmail, near the Danube River, got attacked by drones. These drones caused a lot of damage to important things like roads and buildings. This made things even worse in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. Both sides are telling different stories about what happened.
The leader of the Odesa region, where Izmail is, said that Russian drones did the damage. But Ukraine says these drones were launched from Russia and exploded in Romania during the attack. Romania’s defense people say that’s not true. So, we don’t know who’s really responsible.
Right before the drone attack, Russia said they destroyed four Ukrainian military boats in the Black Sea. This happened just before the Russian President met with the Turkish President to talk about a deal involving Ukraine’s grain exports. Some people think this timing is suspicious, like Russia is using military force to get what they want.
Ukraine’s President, Zelenskyy, also made a big decision. He wants to change the person in charge of their defense, Minister Oleksii Reznikov. This shows that Ukraine is serious about fighting against Russia.
The situation in Ukraine is changing very quickly, and it’s making things tense. We need to watch closely and hope that people can find a way to talk and make peace. Drones being used in war is a big concern, and we need to find out the truth about what happened in Izmail. The most important thing is to stop the fighting and keep people safe.
