Tragedy Unfolds in Jabaliya Refugee Camp Following Israeli Airstrike
Kathmandu, Dec 19: Disturbing reports from the Jabaliya refugee camp in Gaza reveal that three families were residing in the area struck by an Israeli airstrike last night.
As per information from the Hamas Health Ministry and local journalists, the attack resulted in the tragic death of 110 people, with an additional 50 individuals still trapped under the rubble.
Eyewitnesses, including journalists on-site, reported that the Palestinian Civil Defense staff faced challenges reaching the scene. In the absence of immediate professional assistance, local residents have taken on the critical task of helping those trapped amidst the ruins.
Jabaliya has been a target for Israeli forces over the past two weeks, with tanks surrounding the refugee camp from all sides. The recent escalation saw intensified air raids in the area. Heart-wrenching scenes near a health center in northern Gaza depict the bodies of numerous children and women, who reportedly lost their lives in different parts of the region. The situation remains dire as the community grapples with the aftermath of the devastating airstrike.
