Nepal Telecom Introduces Robot Technology for Customer Service
Kathmandu, Nov 17: Nepal Telecom has implemented robot technology to enhance customer service at its Sundhara office. The service, named ‘AI Jack,’ was inaugurated by office chief Dineshchandra Panthi.
The robot is designed to address the challenges posed by limited manpower in handling the 200-300 daily visitors to the office. “‘AI Jack’ can provide answers to approximately 600 frequently asked questions about Nepal Telecom’s services,” Panthi stated.
The robot also guides customers with branch-specific information and directions. To accommodate both local and foreign users, the robot offers services in Nepali and English. Plans are in place to upgrade the system for better efficiency and performance.
The initiative aims to simplify processes and improve customer experience at Nepal Telecom offices.
