Kathmandu, May 22: Tottenham Hotspur have clinched the Europa League title, defeating Manchester United 1-0 in the final held on Wednesday.
The decisive goal came from Brennan Johnson in the 42nd minute, securing Tottenham’s first major European trophy in 17 years.
With the win, Tottenham not only lifted the prestigious trophy but also earned a spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League. The victory is expected to bring the club financial benefits of around £100 million.
