Russian Missile and Drone Attacks Kill Four in Kyiv

Kathmandu, June 23: Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko has confirmed that at least four people were killed in overnight Russian missile and drone attacks on Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital.
In a post on social media, Minister Klymenko stated that the strikes targeted residential areas, hospitals, and sports infrastructure. One high-rise apartment building in the Shevchenkivskyi district reportedly collapsed entirely, with fears that more victims may still be trapped under the debris.
Kyiv regional chief Mykola Kalashnik said one woman was killed and two others wounded in the attacks.
Ukraine’s emergency service DSNS reported that 13 people were injured in total, including two children and a pregnant woman.
As of now, the Russian military has not issued a statement regarding the latest assault.
