Nepal Crushes Indonesia by 370 Runs in U-16 East Zone Cup

Kathmandu, June 29: Nepal delivered a dominating performance against Indonesia, winning by a massive 370 runs in the third match of the ACC Men’s U-16 East Zone Cup on Sunday in Selangor, Malaysia.

Batting first after losing the toss, Nepal posted a huge total of 421 runs. Prasiddha led the charge with a brilliant 132-run century, hitting 15 fours and a six off 114 balls. Parimarjan Yadav scored a quick 71 off just 28 balls, while Raunak Srivastava made 88 off 71 balls. Joy Thapa also contributed with 57 runs from 41 balls, and Sugam Budhathoki added 39 runs.

In reply, Indonesia was bowled out for just 50 runs in 24 overs. Nepal’s captain Bipin Sharma starred with the ball, taking 6 wickets while giving away only 12 runs in his 7-over spell.

This is Nepal’s third straight win in the tournament, placing them at the top of Group A with six points from three matches.
