Putin to Visit India on December 4–5 to Strengthen Strategic Partnership
Kathmandu, Nov 28: Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in India on December 4 for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to India’s Ministry of External Affairs, President Putin will hold high-level talks with Prime Minister Modi and President Draupadi Murmu. The visit is expected to serve as a key opportunity to review bilateral relations and further enhance the long-standing strategic partnership between India and Russia.
The leaders will also discuss major global issues, regional security, and ongoing geopolitical developments.
This will be Putin’s first visit to India since December 2021. He has not visited India after the Russia-Ukraine war began in February 2022 and did not attend the G20 Summit in New Delhi in 2023.
