PM Balen Commits to Advancing Dasharath Chand Health Sciences University
Kathmandu, March 31: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has expressed commitment to immediately move forward with the development of Shaheed Dasharath Chand University of Health Sciences.
During a group discussion with MPs from the Far-Western Region at his official residence in Singhadurbar, the Prime Minister said priority would be given to initiating key projects despite limited budget availability in the current fiscal year.
MPs present at the meeting said the Prime Minister assured that necessary budget would be released for the expansion of the university. Discussions also focused on key regional issues including border management with India, drinking water, education and health services.
The meeting also highlighted the need to bring the university project forward and to make Gokuleshwar Airport operational as soon as possible. Representatives emphasized that these projects are crucial for the development and well-being of the Far-Western Region.
