‘Ridge’ – The Sharp Mountain Line Where Two Slopes Meet

The song, which is around three minutes long, takes its name from the sharp ridge of a mountain where two slopes meet. In the same way, the track brings together two different musical worlds: classical sitar and modern electronic music.

The production, mixing, and mastering of the song was done by sound engineer Thajville. Deepak Shakya played bass guitar, Sabin Maharjan played flute, and Nikhil Bist played tabla. Akash Tamang and Swachit Shakya helped with the arrangement and production, while Swachit Shakya served as the production director.

‘Ridge’ is now available on Himalayan Sitar’s official YouTube channel, Spotify, and other major music streaming platforms. This song is especially important because it marks Himalayan Sitar’s entry into electronic music. Earlier, he had released ‘Vedanshi’, the first song from his album ‘Shruti’. ‘Ridge’ is the first song from his new electronic album.
