Kathmandu, September 4, 2026: Bodhisattva Swami Anand Arun, accompanied by fellow sannyasins from Tapoban, met with Honorable Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle today to express solidarity with communities affected by the devastating floods across Nepal.

During the meeting, Swami Anand Arun conveyed Tapoban’s deep concern and support for families who have lost their homes, livelihoods, essential belongings, and loved ones in the disaster. He emphasized the importance of compassion, solidarity, and collective responsibility at a time when communities across the country are facing immense hardship.

As a contribution to the ongoing relief and recovery efforts, Tapoban donated Rs. 15,51,000 (fifteen lakh fifty-one thousand rupees) to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.

Tapoban is also mobilizing volunteers and fellow sannyasins to reach flood-affected communities and provide immediate practical assistance. The relief effort includes the distribution of food, clothing, bedding and sleeping materials, cooking utensils, and essential tools such as shovels and other equipment needed to clear flood debris and restore homes and communities.

The initiative reflects Tapoban’s belief that compassion must move beyond words and become meaningful action. At a time when many families are struggling to meet their most basic needs, the volunteers will work alongside affected communities, offering both material support and a sense of human solidarity.

The contribution and volunteer mobilization are expressions of Tapoban’s shared responsibility toward people facing suffering and loss. The effort seeks not only to provide immediate relief but also to stand beside affected families as they begin the difficult process of recovery and rebuilding.
