Company commissar of Biplav-led group arrested
Biratnagar. Two cadres of the Netra Bikram Chand (also known as Biplav) led Communist Party of Nepal have been arrested, as reported by the District Police Office of Morang.
According to Santosh Kumar Khadka, Superintendent of the District Police Office, Morang, they arrested the two when they were investigating the house of Bijuli Prasad Timsina in Miklajung Village Municipality-1, in Morang.
The two men have been identified as 18-year-old Bigyan Rai (also known as Sanam), who is from Ilam, and 32-year-old Kashinath Ghimire (also known as Prateek), who is from Saptari. The police have confiscated weapons, ammunition, explosives and documents from them.
Initial investigation conducted by the police revealed that Ghimire was the company commissar of the eastern command, whereas, Rai was a member of the group.
